In this audio, I share a summary of the history and current status of the psychedelic revival. From the early clinical research of the 1950s and 1960s, to the long hiatus caused by prohibition, we arrive at the current phase: what many call the psychedelic renaissance. Today, Psychedelic Assisted Therapies (PAT) are the subject of rigorous clinical trials for the treatment of resistant depression, PTSD, existential anxiety, addictions, and complex trauma. But what does the science really say? What protocols are used? What are the ethical and public health implications?
