We all feel anger, sadness, frustration every now and then: stop feeling guilty about what you feel.
There are no good emotions and bad emotions, all are part of us, all have a sense and a purpose and make us human. It is human to have ups and downs and mood swings. This is the rhythm of life itself. But if we realize that our emotions are a source of malaise then it is good that we give ourselves the opportunity to contact them to know them better.
If we observe ourselves with an open mind, without judging ourselves badly for what we feel, then and only then, we will be able to change what is wrong. Judgments always end up making us guilty. Guilt never produces positive effects. But when we decide to take responsibility for changing what is not functional to our well-being, to give up old defensive schemes that are now useless, then everything changes. Our awareness of us grows and with it our well-being. Happiness is a choice.
