The value of vulnerability

"If we can share our story with someone who responds with understanding and empathy, shame doesn't survive"

The fine line that separates vulnerability from courage, the ability to throw yourself into the arena, especially when it makes us more afraid. The discovery that you can dare, you can be imperfect, you can be terrified and do the stes know. Because whatever holds us back certainly has to do with shame , with the sense of guilt , with that part of us that we want to keep silent about in the world, and often also to ourselves. Yet it is by illuminating this submerged universe of ours that we can finally become aware of who we truly are. Sometimes listening attentively, empathically and non-judgmentally to another person facilitates this process.
